I had the very same thought at the forefront of my mind when I created this charming bureau made from solid Tiger Oak wood and embellished with brass handles and locks.
It’s compact design means that it doesn’t take up valuable space when not in use and yet when working from home, the desk area drops down to create a clever working space!

Made of solid Tiger Oak wood, with solid brass hinges/locks throughout, and a pull-down door to create a desk, as well as three drawers, and compartments, this sturdy vintage decoupaged bureau not only offers ample storage, but is also a unique statement piece for your home.
The exterior body has been painted in fusion mineral ‘midnight blue’ mineral paint and decoupaged with a striking Art Deco leopard design. The interior has also been lavishly crafted with generous glints of gold in all the right places. The whole piece has been sealed and protected with several coats of varnish.
